Josh Baugh is a Girl Dad who wants to ensure his daughters have equitable opportunity in sport. He returned to mountain biking in 2019 after more than a decade off the bike and found an amazing community in cycling. He rides mountain bikes and gravel, while mixing in an occasional road ride. Josh loves growing the reach of the Alamo City Femmes and its mission to get more girls on bikes. He shares his love of XC mountain biking with his daughter and other girls from the community. He’s seen the power of camaraderie for girls on bikes and wants to ensure members of the Femmes have the chance to flourish.

Alison Musil
Head Coach
Coach Alison is a girl with a dream to see other girls have the space, freedom, and courage to grow into their place in the world. She began riding and racing bikes in college and dabbled in racing across most disciplines, including road, cyclocross and triathlon before settling into mountain biking. Before hanging up her race plates in 2023, she would toe the line against the Texas ladies in Open/Cat 1. These days, you are most likely to find her riding her bike to the grocery store or on her way to Femmes practice. Her favorite rides include the ones with lots of snack breaks and laughs with good friends.
She started coaching with NICA in 2020 shortly after moving to San Antonio but found a home with the Femmes. She hopes to bring an example to every practice of what it means to be a girl in sports — to fuel your body every ride, to cry if you need to after a crash, to be silly and have fun, to take up the space you need in the world, to learn how to move your body in and through the world, to honor your body and where you’re currently at, and to dig, push, and reach for where you want to go.
